Finally, logic has prevailed. Felix Hernández won the 2010 American League Cy Young Award as he finished the season 13–12 with a 2.27 ERA and 232 K's. Anyone with the slightest baseball sense would recognize that King Felix won because of the 2.27 ERA, and NOT the "dismal" 13 wins. Hopefully, this is a sign for things to come. Sabermetics finally prevails, and I hope it is here to stay. Then again, without journalists making stupid comments and managers making stupid trades based on the W-L "stat", it will certainly be less entertaining. Thank goodness we have Theo.
